Wellbeing – Exercise & Mental Health
Our multi-disciplinary team are qualified to assist as part of team arrangements for those recovering from severe stress or depression. The targeted exercise program, REST classes and diet support are designed to improve the overall homeostasis of the patients through nutrition and general improvement in physiology induced through exercise and mindfulness. The mental benefits of physical activity are enormous and our program includes:
- Exercise physiology: individual supported exercise sessions; with a structured physical activity programme and the Goal of building a patient upto independent exercise of 30 mins per week x 7 days. (National Institute for Health & Care Excellence Clinical Guideline CG90: Depression in Adults 18.104.22.168 and 22.214.171.124: supported physical therapy)
- Dietitian Support: Advice, Meal Planning, supplement recommendation and the option of a weekly fruit & vegetable box for the duration of the program.
Our rehabilitation studio and multidisciplinary team are capable to assist in physical therapy programs and dietetics support for a variety of diagnosis including depression recovery and management.
